     New DEA Fee Schedules

      A new DEA fee schedule is in effect for all new registration applications postmarked on or after December 1, 2003

        and all re-registration applications postmarked on or after December 1, 2003. This rulemaking also establishes

       new annual registration /re-registration fee amounts for dispensers, including central fill pharmacies, and teaching

       institutions of $390 for a three-year period. The annual registration and re-registration fee for researchers, narcotic

       treatment programs (including compounders), effective with this rulemaking, is $130. These categories of

       registrants obtain a registration and pay the associated fee on an annual basis.
